PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shake correction device or the like capable of correcting image blur caused on a subject image. SOLUTION: The shake correction device (16) includes a subject detection part (13) detecting the number of subjects (F) whose images are picked up by an imaging apparatus (1), a plurality of shake detection parts (12 and 14) for detecting the blur of the image picked up by the imaging apparatus, and a correction part (15) for correcting the blur of the image by using the shake of the imaging apparatus detected by at least one of the plurality of shake detection parts based on the number of the subjects detected by the subject detection part.
