PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic fiber optic plate which has an excellent clearness in black color when an image is read out or displayed. SOLUTION: The plastic fiber optic plate 5 is composed of plastic multifibers and is provided with a sea-island structure comprising a plurality of islands 1 and seas 4, wherein the islands 1 include cores 2 comprising polymers of a high refractive index and claddings 3 surrounding the cores and comprising polymers of a low refractive index, and wherein the seas 4 are composed of polymer compounds colored in black.
