PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a light guide plate of an optical shutter. SOLUTION: The optical shutter 10 includes a light guide plate 1 having a shutter region 3 in the back side and a light source 4 projecting light L into the light guide plate 1 through a small face 2 of the light guide plate 1. When the light source 4 is not allowed to emit light, the back side can be seen through the shutter region 3 from the front side, and when the light source 1 is allowed to emit light, light L projected into the light guide plate 1 is scattered in the shutter region 3 to emit light in the shutter region 3 so as to render the light K transmitting through the shutter region 3 not to be visually recognized from the front side. The shutter region 3 is formed by directly sticking or via a transparent adhesive sheet 13, one surface 11a as a light scattering part of a porous sheet 11 to the back face 1b of the light guide plate 1.
