PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric equipment capable of extinguishing fire by an inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: When a washing switch of a remote controller is operated, a main valve 14 is opened, hot water is supplied into a nozzle 5 from a hot water tank 17, and the nozzle 5 advances to jet hot water from its tip and allow a user to wash his/her body. In a non-use condition of the electric equipment 1 in which washing operation is stopped by a stop switch, if a part of circuit components 32 catches fire (for example, overvoltage is applied to a varistor, thereby causing spark), a water supply hose 16 above the circuit components 32 is melted by the heat, a hole is made, and the water collected in the water supply hose 16 leaks through the hole and is poured over the circuit components 32 to extinguish fire.
