PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glued laminated timber for structure which can be relatively inexpensively manufactured by selecting the kind of a wood and a site to be used of the wood without performing any special processing, attempts to improve the compression strength as a structural material, is hardly dented by other member, and ensures antipollution. SOLUTION: In the glued laminated timber C for structure manufactured by laminating at least three sheets of boards manufactured by cutting the wood and processing them into board shapes, a pair of external layer materials 1 positioned on the outermost sides and an internal layer material 10 pinched by the external layer materials 1 are composed of core material of the wood, and at least the external layer materials 1 are composed of the woods selected from larch, hiba, Japanese cypress, American sun tree, Japanese red pine, Japanese black pine and American pine tree.
