PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire manufacturing method which enables substantially greatly improving the durability of the beading section while retaining the manufacturing efficiency by fixing the edge of the carcass ply to the beading core without gaps, a tire obtained thereby and a narrow member winding device used in the method. SOLUTION: The method comprises winding a narrow member 5, with pressing, around the edge 5 of the carcass ply having been made to fall to the outside surface of the beading core in the radial direction by means of a winding roll 21, while pressing the edge 5 of the carcass ply toward the beading core with a carcass-pressing roll 22.
