PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for punching a helical gear with which working accuracy and the efficiency of production are improved and also the reduction of the manufacturing cost is expectable. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a die 35 which is provided with internal teeth 33 having a helix angle equivalent to the helix angle of the helical gear on the inner peripheral surface of a die holder 32, helical external teeth 36 which are screwed on the internal teeth 33 of the die holder 32 on the outer periphery and also a die hole 37 having the internal teeth 38 and having the helix angle equivalent to the helix angle of the helical gear, a blank holder 60 which is provided with a punch fitting hole 64 providing the internal teeth 65 having the helix angle equivalent to the helix angle of the helical gear and the external teeth 63 which are screwed on the internal teeth 33 of the die holder 32 and a punch 71 which is provided with the external teeth 75 to be fit to the internal teeth 65 of the punch fitting hole 64. The relative phase of the die 35 and the punch 71 is always controlled with the die holder 32 and the helical gear Wa is punched out from the blank W with high accuracy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
