A sauna-like apparatus has a chamber defining a cavity to accommodate at least part of a body of a user and an infrared emitter within the chamber. It also has an ozone generator to pump ozone into the chamber. Infrared radiation in the far infrared range, ie radiation having a wavelength of between 5.6 µ and 1 mm. Ozone is generated by irradiating oxygen from a compressed cylinder with UV radiation. The apparatus further has a heart rate monitor. |
