Method for releasing the energy content of explosive gas

The method involves igniting explosive gas in liquid medium i.e. water (12), or gaseous medium i.e. air, or porous solid medium by a spark gap and a piezo igniter (17). The explosive gas is combusted or exploded. The explosive gas is produced such that the liquid medium is electrolytically treated. Exchange of ions is carried out in the water in a rectangular base container. A plastic attachment made of polyethylene or PTFE for holding electrode plates is placed on a base of the container. The explosive gas is separated into hydrogen and oxygen by a membrane. An independent claim is also included for a device for releasing energy content of nascent explosive gas.
