PURPOSE: A direction display device is provided to safely guide a movement direction of a vehicle and a person by irradiating infrared rays to a road in a longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION: A direction display device comprises an infrared rays projector(110) and a route guide indicating light receiving unit. The infrared rays projector is formed in one side of a tunnel or a corridor in a longitudinal direction. The route guide indicating light receiving unit is installed in the other side of the tunnel or the corridor. A fluorescent material reacted by infrared rays is spread on the route guide indicating light receiving unit.
