<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an effective protection film on the surface of an organic EL element. <P>SOLUTION: This is a sealing material wherein (a) a photo-curing resin layer in which a compound having an ethylene double bond at the end or the side chain of a molecule and a photopolymerization initiator are main components is formed on a film having (b) optical transparency. By using the sealing material for the organic EL element in which the (a) photo-curing resin layer shows non-fluidity at 25°C and reveals fluidity in the range of 50°C to 100°C when heated, a primary coated film of the cured photo-curing resin is provided on the surface of the organic El element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
