SHAFT FURNACE FOR BAKING LUMP MATERIAL

A shaft furnace for baking lump material has lined shaft with loading and unloading devices installed on the upper and the lower level of the shaft, peripheral and central burners with formation of heating, baking and cooling zones, and chimney. In the shaft furnace counter-flow zones for heating, baking and cooling are formed. The peripheral burners, as such gas-burner devices of diffusion-kinetic type are used, are placed in annealing zone at least in two levels. The central burner is arranged as gas nozzle of air of cooled beam placed in cooling zone over unloading device coaxially with respect to the furnace. The device for discharge of furnace gases is placed coaxially to the furnace and below the upper level of the shaft.
