PURPOSE: A method for installing a direct/indirect cooling stepping valve of a kimchi refrigerator is provided to reduce a temperature difference by supplying a refrigerant according to the structural property of the stepping valve in an alternating motion process of the stepping valve. CONSTITUTION: A method for installing a direct/indirect cooling stepping valve of a kimchi refrigerator includes a step for performing a control step of the stepping valve. A refrigerant is supplied through an outlet and is connected to an indirect cooling control storage room. The stepping valve successively performs the control step. The number of the processes is different according to the number of direct cooling control storage rooms and the indirect cooling control storage rooms.
