<p>The device (1) has a contact region (2) e.g. evaporator surface or heat exchanger surface, exposed to surroundings to transport heat energy. The contact region is partially formed with a coating (3) i.e. anti-freeze polymer layer, that lowers a freezing point of moisture. The coating partially comprises polymer, and produces thermal hysteresis in contact with the moisture. The thermal hysteresis is formed such that fluid moisture freezes during the freezing point and iced moisture melts during a melting point. The contact region is coated with the coating and a hydrophobic layer (4).</p> |
