PURPOSE: A refrigerator which circulates heated air and cooled air smoothly and a refrigerator control method thereof are provided to circulate inside air of a storage room by defrosting a heat exchanger and heating the inside air of the storage room. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a storage(400), a heat exchanger(500), a first heater(310), a first ventilation fan(210), and a second ventilation fan(220). The storage comprises a storage room. The heat exchanger cools the storage room. The first heater heats the air of the heat exchanger or the storage room. The first ventilation fan transfers the cool air of the heat exchanger to the storage room. The second ventilation fan is arranged on the lower part of the first ventilation fan in order to circulate the air of the storage room.
