CONTROL METHOD FOR DATA TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A control method for data transmission is provided to enhance the reliability of the information transmission by determining transmission priority based on the four average values which indicate the MPP constant, real-time properties, physical properties, and degree of interest. CONSTITUTION: The Data Source DB stores the broadcasting contents of the broadcasting receiver. The Polish DB stores the MPP(Media Preference for Presentation) variable, the media characteristic variable, the Data Source interest level, the server maximum/minimum bandwidth and the information about the maximum/minimum bandwidth according to each receiving device. The BCTS created the DSLT(Data Source List for Transfer) with reference to the Data Source DB and the Polish DB. The Network Agent transmits the broadcasting contents Data Source with reference to the transmission factors of BCTS to apparatuses. The receiving device receives the broadcasting contents Data Source.
