HOST APPARATUS FOR BLUETOOTH COMMUNICATION AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A host device for bluetooth communication and a method thereof are provided to make it possible to listen to music/language study using a mono headset without installing additional module. CONSTITUTION: A host device(100) comprises an audio DSP(Digital Signal Processor) unit(110), a memory unit(120), an RF(Radio Frequency) unit(130), an audio vocoder unit(140) and BT(Bluetooth) communications unit(150). In case the type of the headset is mono type, the audio DSP unit performs PCM(Pulse Code Modulation) of the sound data. The audio vocoder converts the digital audio signal of the RF unit into the analog signal. The audio vocoder changes the calling signal into the digital audio signal. The BT communication unit transmits modulation data of the audio DSP unit to the headset.
