PURPOSE: A line feed permanent magnet synchronous motor for a scroll compressor with bypass ports is provided to achieve higher maximum efficiency and flatter efficiency curve. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor(20) comprises a first scroll member(26), a second scroll member(28), and an electric motor. The first scroll member comprises a base and a helical blade extended from the base. The second scroll member comprises a base and a helical blade extended from the base. The helical blades form pressing chambers. The electric motor alternately drives a rotary shaft to cause the orbital motion of the second scroll member with respect to the first scroll member.
