PURPOSE: A steam humidifier is provided to prevent the propagation of bacteria and supply clean steam to indoor air by boiling water into steam. CONSTITUTION: A steam humidifier comprises an electric heating plate(8), a circular side opening(7), a water tank(1), and a water discharge pipe(4). The water discharge pipe having a U shaped feature is inserted through the side opening and is installed vertically. Therefore, the steam is supplied to indoor air while the backflow of steam toward the water tank is prevented.
