<p>A door opening and closing device has a rotational mechanism configured to switch a door 3 between a closed position and an open position relative to a base member. Latch means for latching the door in the closed position on the base member includes a latch mechanism 4 attached to the base member, a slider 6 slidably situated above the latch device, and a pivotally supported latching member 7 including a base end 73 slidably connected with the slider 6, and a tip configured to engage a portion of the door 3. When the door 3 is moved to the closed position, the slider 6 is moved by the door and is engaged with the latch mechanism 4 while the latching member 7 is pivoted to engage the door. There may be provided an urging means to urge the door 3 in the open direction, where the latch device is a push-push latching mechanism 4 where the latch mechanism 4 releases the door 3 when the door 3 is pushed in its closed condition.</p> |
