FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic mineral prospecting using non-explosive sources and can be used in seismic prospecting on land, sea and in transition zone conditions. The method of generating seismic waves is based on using repelling forces arising in an electrodynamic energy converter. The device which realises the proposed method has an energy storage capacitor, an electrodynamic energy converter, a bearing structure which is a base plate and transmits to the analysed medium repelling force pulses arising in the electrodynamic energy converter when the main current pulse is supplied, guide posts, an electrodynamic tightening weight and an electrodynamic shock absorber. ^ EFFECT: invention increases impact pressure on the ground compared to similar existing devices of the same weight; reliability can also be increased owing to simplification of the structure. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
