<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface fusion reforming method of improving the corrosion resistance of a high nickel alloy such as an inconel material by the irradiation of laser light without depositing a thin film on the surface of a base metal similarly to the case of stainless steel, and to provide a repairing method of moving and irradiating laser light to opening defects generated by the change in the structure of a high nickel alloy to a sensitized region. <P>SOLUTION: The method of improving stress corrosion cracking resistance or the method of repairing the stress corrosion cracking in the opening defects is applied to the high nickel alloy having a stabilization parameter value of 4 to 12, or to opening defects generated by the change in the structure of the high nickel alloy to the sensitized region. Laser light is applied at an irradiation energy density of≥0.45 kJ/cm, by which a fusion layer is formed on the surface of the alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
