The device (10) has a lubricant channel (34) that supplies lubricant i.e. lubricating oil, to a connecting rod bearing point (12) of a crankshaft (16). The lubricant channel comprises a groove (40) at a lubricant inlet side and is attached in an axial direction in a crank arm of the crankshaft. An injecting device directly introduces the lubricant into the groove. The groove comprises an undercut whose extending direction runs perpendicular to a rotational axis of the crankshaft. The lubricant channel is arranged at an angle of 23 degrees with the rotational axis of the crankshaft.
