DENITRATION CATALYST AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AS WELL AS DENITRATION METHOD USING THE CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denitration catalyst with high denitration performance obtained by a solvothermal process.

SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the catalyst to be used in chemical reaction for converting nitrogen oxides into nitrogen and water by applying a hydrocarbon, as a reducing agent, to a nitrogen oxide comprises a step of obtaining a Ga-Al-based crystalline oxide by thermally treating a raw material containing Ga and Al in an organic solvent at temperatures above the boiling point of the organic solvent, and a step of calcining the Ga-Al-based crystalline oxide for 0.5 to 3 hours after charging the crystalline oxide directly into the atmosphere at 650 to 750°C.
