<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition, of which the high-temperature load life can be improved while maintaining the DC bias characteristics excellently. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric porcelain composition contains a main component containing barium titanate, a first accessory component containing BaZrO<SB>3</SB>, a second accessory component containing a rare-earth oxide, a third accessory component containing a M oxide (wherein, M is at least one kind selected from among those of Mn, Ni, Cr, Co and Fe), and a fourth accessory component containing Si oxide. The dielectric porcelain composition has plural dielectric particles and crystal grain boundary zones, and when the content ratio of Si element in the boundary between the dielectric particles and the crystal grain boundary zones is measured, the ratio of measurement points, on which the inclusion ratio of Si element is 1.0 atom% or higher, is 50% or higher of all the measurement points, and when calculates the average value in the plural dielectric particles about the content ratio of Si element in the dielectric particles, the average value is 0.5 atom% or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
