<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio apparatus capable of directly connecting to an Ethernet (R) device such as a 10GbE device, for unidirectional communication of Ethernet signals in the form of radio signals such as millimeter waves. <P>SOLUTION: The Ethernet signal output from an Ethernet device 2 is input into an optical coupler 13 through a reception port 1R. The optical coupler 13 splits part of the Ethernet signal and outputs it from an output point 13out, while outputting the remaining Ethernet signal except the part of Ethernet signal from an output point 13out'. The Ethernet signal output from the output point 13out is input into the Ethernet device 2 through a transmission port 1T and a reception port 2R of the Ethernet device 2.
