<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage facility capable of immediately finding when an article transport carriage moves out of control. <P>SOLUTION: Communication means for a carriage for emitting radio signals including carriage identification information is provided to an article transport carriage stored in a storage space, and reception means 3 for controlling a carriage to receive the radio signals emitted from the communication means for the carriage is provided in the storage space.
