<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, in a case where gas pressure within a gas supply pipe between a main valve and each solenoid safety valve becomes approximately equal to primary pressure and sealed, when the gas supply pipe is heated by after heat etc. of a gas burner, the sealed gas is expanded to further increase the internal gas pressure, leading to large deformation of a diaphragm of a governor, and, since a valve element for automatically increasing/reducing a flow rate is attached to the diaphragm, repeating of the large deformation of the diaphragm causes plastic deformation and leads to fluctuation in flow rate adjustment by the valve element and set pressure so as to affect the combustion state of the grille burner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the case where the gas pressure between the solenoid safety valve and the main valve becomes approximately equal to primary pressure of gas when the main valve is closed after the solenoid safety valve is closed first, the main valve is closed prior to closing of the solenoid safety valve to reduce the gas pressure between the main valve and the solenoid safety valve to the pressure near the atmospheric pressure, and immediately after that, the solenoid safety valve is closed.
