PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the precursor wire of an oxide superconductive wiring member having a high critical-temperature current density, its manufacturing method, and the oxide superconductive wiring member. SOLUTION: The precursor wire of the oxide superconductive wiring member is totally constituted with a plurality of honeycomb-structured regular-hexagonal outer-peripheral segments surrounding a regular-hexagonal center portion. The outer-peripheral segments are collections of a plurality of ribbon-shaped filaments with their wide sides disposed to surround the center portion.
