<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip with an abrasive grain layer having improved workability in the step of installing the chip with the abrasive grain layer on a base metal, and to provide a superabrasive grain tool. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The chip 7 with the abrasive grain layer is fixed on a base metal 3 of a parallel flat honing machine 1 and is used. The chip 7 comprises a body 71 for processing a workpiece, and a protruded part 73 that is protruded from a lower surface 71a of the body 71, has been molded integrally with the body 71, and, when the lower surface 71a is joined to an upper surface 3a of the base metal, is inserted into a guide hole 3c formed in the upper surface 3a of the base metal.
