<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope and an ultrasonic inspection apparatus by which good ultrasonic echo images can be obtained. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic inspection apparatus 1 has an insertion portion 10, an ultrasonic transducer portion 31 arranged in the insertion portion 10, a balloon 33 covering the ultrasonic transducer portion 31 and secured to the insertion portion 10, a tubular path 36 discharging a liquid ultrasonic transferring medium L injected in the balloon inside space 35 which is the space formed by the insertion portion 10 and the balloon 33, and an illumination portion 40 for illuminating the balloon inside space 35.
