<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic pressure actuator which can be reliably prevented from being submerged with a simple and compact constitution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic pressure actuator includes a piston 4 stored inside a housing 2 reciprocatably, an air chamber 10 formed at one side of the piston 4 and subjected to air supply, a spring chamber 12 formed at the other end of the piston 4 with a spring 13 for urging the piston 4 to the air chamber 10 side, and an intake and exhaust hole 14 formed in the spring chamber 12 and communicating with the outside. The pneumatic pressure actuator includes a water submergence preventing member 17 comprising a mounting part 18 mounted on the intake and exhaust hole 14 and a large diameter part 19 having a diameter larger than that of the mounting part 18.
