Ramjet engine with a melting layer applied on the exhaust duct

The missile has a ramjet engine including a combustion chamber. A generator has a solid fuel for generating a combustion gas in a combustion gas generator chamber. The combustion gas generator chamber is connected with the combustion chamber using a gas conducting pipe (8). An inner wall (15) of the gas conducting pipe is provided with a coating (17), which is melted or corroded when a temperature of the coating is below a combustion temperature. The coating consists of two layers formed from metal e.g. zinc or zinc alloy.
