Device and method for determining a position

The method involves receiving ephemeris of a satellite of a global navigation satellite system and storing the received ephemeris. The ephemeris is precalculated for a given point of time in future from the stored ephemeris. The stored ephemeris, which is valid for a point of time, is only consulted for precalculating of future ephemeris. The runtime of multiple satellite signals is determined for the given point of time. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a device for a toll acquisition system for determining a position by global navigation satellite systems; and (2) a computer program with a program code stored on a machine-readable medium for executing the position determining method.
