PURPOSE: A tundish for a continuous casting device is provided to improve slab quality by preventing residue from being mixed with molten steel included in the tundish when the molten steel is tapped to a mold. CONSTITUTION: A tundish for a continuous casting device comprises a main body(110), a cap(170), and an embedded part(180). The main body receives the molten steel. A steel-tapping hole(120) is formed on both sides of the bottom to supply the molten steel to a mold. The cap has a round post shape, wherein the upper part is closed and the lower part is opened. The embedded part covers the lower end of the cap, forms the flow path, and is embedded in the bottom surface of the steel-tapping hole(122). The lower end(172) of the cap is embedded lower than the bottom surface of main body. An inlet port(174) is formed on the lower end of the cap.
