摘要 Compounds suitable for use in the treatment of shaped articles are produced by the reaction of (1) a dicarboxylic acid with (2) a mixture of (a) a diaminopolyalkyleneoxy compound and (b) an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic diamine or an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or alkyl cycloaliphatic amino acid and/or lactam or a mixture of the diamine and amino acid or lactam. The condensate may be applied to the shaped articles from an aqueous medium or from an organic solvent which may also contain a cross-linking agent, e.g. formaldehyde, acrolein, glyoxal, a cyanuric halide or a dihalogenotriazine derivative, or a resin precondensate, e.g. a condensation product of formaldehyde with urea, thiourea, dicyandiamide, amines, amides, carbamates, aminotriazines, urons, ureins, ureides, imidazolidones, pyridones or triazones and the lower alkyl ethers thereof, methylol derivatives of nitrogen containing polymers such as water-soluble urea/formaldehyde polycondensates and acrylamide polymers and polyacetals, a catalyst, e.g. oxalic acid, zinc or magnesium chloride, organic amine salts or ammonium sulphate, chloride or thiocyanate, hydroxyalkyl ethers of cellulose or starch and antioxidants, e.g. polyhydric phenols, substituted monohydric phenols, bis-phenols, sulphides, dithiocarbamates and dialkyldithiophosphates.ALSO:Textile materials made from natural or synthetic polymeric material are rendered antistatic and given a modified handle and improved water absorbent and abrasion resistant properties and a reduced tendency to soil by treating them with a condensate of (1) a dicarboxylic acid with (2) a mixture of (a) a diaminopolyalkyleneoxy compound and (b) an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic diamine or an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or alkyl cycloaliphatic amino acid and/or lactam or a mixture of the diamine and amino acid or lactam. The condensate may be applied from an aqueous medium or from an organic solvent by dipping or spraying or by means of a brush, furnishing roller or squeegee at temperatures up to 50 DEG C., dried at temperatures up to about 120 DEG C., and then baked at a temperature of 120 DEG C - 220 DEG C for from 10 seconds to 30 minutes. The textile material may also be treated with a crosslinking agent, e.g. formaldehyde, acrolein, glyoxal, a cyanuric halide or a dihalogenotriazine derivative, or a resin precondensate, e.g. a condensation product of formaldehyde with urea, thiourea, dicyandiamide, amines, amides, carbamates, aminotriazines, urons, ureins, ureides, inidazolidones, pyridones or triazones and the lower alkyl ethers thereof, methylol derivatives of nitrogen containing polymers such as water-soluble urea/formaldehyde polycondensates and acrylamide polymers and polyacetals, a catalyst, e.g. oxalic acid, zinc or magnesium chloride, organic amine salts or ammonium sulphate, chloride or thiocyanate, hydroxyalkyl ethers of cellulose or starch and antioxidants, e.g. polyhydric phenols, substituted monohydric phenols, bis-phenols, sulphides, dithiocarbamates and dialkyldithiophosphates. Cotton, wool, regenerated cellulose, polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, polyester, acrylonitrile, cellulose triacetate, and glass fibres in the form of rovings, yarns or woven, non-woven or knitted fabrics may be treated.
