Fabric coated with peroxide containing fluoroelastomer composition

The coating composition comprises a fluorine containing rubber, a preferably organic peroxide crosslinking agent and preferably a co-agent. The preferably uncured coating is preferably applied by spreading, dip coating or optionally wet calendering. Disclosed coagents include triallyl isocyanurate (TAIC), TAC and TMAIC. Disclosed crosslinking agents include dimethyldi(t-butylperoxy)hexane, dicumyl peroxide and butyl peroxy diisopropylbenzene. The disclosed fabric comprises aramid and glass fibres. The disclosed solvent is MEK. The coated fabric can then be moulded into a rotary or v-ring seal.
