PURPOSE: A lighting device and a micro display device using the same are provided to directly couple a heat radiating unit on a light guide plate case of a light source part without interposing a separate support. CONSTITUTION: A light source part(60) has a light guide plate(40), a light guide plate case(48) and a light-generating part(50). A light guide plate case has a base plate and a support part. The base plate supports the bottom surface of the light guide plate. The supporting part supports the front and the rear surface of the light guide plate. The support part is installed on the front and the rear end of the light guide plate case. A heat radiating unit(70) is coupled with the light-generating part to cool the light-generating part.
