FIELD: conveyors. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed screw conveyor comprises serially connected sections with transfer elements and intermediate bearings supports. Every section represents a cylindrical casing accommodating conveying screw. Casing of transfer elements of adjacent sections represents a truncated inversed cone, while its conveying screw represents a band helical spiral with its outer edge repeating the casing shape. Inner outline of spiral edge forms conical space, also widening in direction of material transfer. Band spiral inner edges accommodate rods with their ends rigidly coupled with screw shaft. Intermediate bearing support seats on the shaft of previous section, at the start of screw spiral helical space. Rods coupling bearing support with the flange of previous section are arranged in parallel to those of bend spiral inner edge. End section of screw start of the next section extends beyond the flange of its section to repeat the outline of screw spiral inner space outline in the previous section. ^ EFFECT: increased transfer capacity of conveyor, reduced power consumption, higher safety of material particles and higher reliability of conveying. ^ 4 dwg |
