<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key system capable of improving security against theft of automobile. <P>SOLUTION: When ID codes are inputted from the outside, first and second immobilizers ECU 25, 26 collate the ID code with ID codes stored in memories 29, 30. When code collations match, the first and second immobilizers ECU 25, 26 output engine start allowance signals to an engine control device 22.
