<p>The device has a set of gemstones, and a set of illumination elements e.g. LEDs, that are arranged on or at a carrier. The gemstones are selectively illuminated via the illumination element for realizing a time display. Each gemstone is respectively held in cylindrical supports using an adhesive, where the supports protrude from the carrier about one millimeter. The gemstones comprise natural or artificial glass stones. An intermediate space is formed between two adjacent supports, where the space corresponds to an average diameter of the supports. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a device for time display.</p> |
