Process for producing epoxy resins

Production (P1) of organic compounds comprises producing glycerol from renewable raw materials and producing organic compounds from the glycerol. Independent claims are also included for: (1) production (P2) of epichlorohydrin by dehydrochlorination of dichloropropanol produced by process P1; (2) production of epoxy resins using epichlorohydrin produced by process P2; (3) production of epoxy resins using dichloropropanol comprising at least 50% 1,3-dichloropropanol.
