FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: in the method for creation and authentication of electronic digital signature (EDS), secret key is generated as at least one vector of bit strings K, according to secret key open key Y is created as vector of bit strings with dimension number m where 2ëñm<64, electronic document is received depending on which and on secret key value EDS is created as at least one vector of bit strings; depending on EDS, document and open key the first A and the second B of checking bit strings are created, A and B are compared. When their parameters coincide it is concluded that electronic digital signature is authentic.
