PURPOSE: A fire prevention equipment for window and door and a method of preventing fire thereof are provided to block the fire spreading to an upper part through the window and the door of a building. CONSTITUTION: The fire prevention equipment for window and door includes: a water supply part(14), connected to a drainpipe of a sprinkler installed at a building, for supplying the water to a sprinkler of each class; and a nozzle(16), installed in the water supply part, for discharging the water flowed in into the water supply part to an outer side of window and door. When a fire out in the building, a water-film(130) is formed around the outside of the window and the door of the building by supplying the water to the sprinkler.
