PURPOSE: A qusai-monolothic detector module of a pet-ct is provided to decide the transverse section location and the reaction depth using an index table and maximum likelihood location distinguishing method. CONSTITUTION: A qusai-monolothic detector module of a pet-ct comprises a qusai-monolothic array type scintillation crystal(115) and a photo multiplier(120). A plurality of slice scintillation crystals is arranged in the qusai-monolothic array type scintillation crystal. The photo multiplier detects an optical signal. A radiation detector module comprises a reaction position detection part. The reaction position detection part finds the slice scintillation crystal, including the gamma-ray reaction, from the signal detected by the photo multiplier. The reaction position detection part decides the location in the separation axial direction of the corresponding slice scintillation crystal.
