METHOD FOR MEASURING OPTICAL DENSITY OF BONE TISSUE OF MAXILLA IN PATIENTS WITH DIASTEMA

A method for measuring the optical density of the bone tissue of the maxilla in the patients with the diastema provides for examining orthopantogram in the transmitting helium-neon beam of the quantum generator LG-56. The beam of the quantum generator LG-56 is passed through orthopantogram in the area of the interdental space between the central incisors of the maxilla in the patients with the diastema at three levels: the ridge of the interdental space; between the roots of the teeth 11 and 21, and in the projection of the root apices of the central incisors. The optical density is measured in the conventional units.
