<p>PURPOSE: A crucible holding member and a method for producing the same are provided to improve excellent thermal conductivity by securing strength to apply high tension in circumference direction. CONSTITUTION: A crucible holding support member(100) comprises a mesh body, a matrix, and a carbonaceous layer. The mesh body(13) of a cage shape or a cylindrical shape has a closed end. The matrix is charged in a gap between a plurality of carbon fibers. The carbonaceous layer(15) is formed in the inner circumference of the mesh body and includes a flat plane(25)-contacting an outer circumference of the crucible. The mesh body is formed by growing a strand made of plurality of carbon fibers with slighting slanting to an axis of mesh body.</p> |
