A honeycomb electric separator, in which precipitating chambers are formed by four elements, each of which in the cross section consists of a long straight area, a short straight area located at an angle of 120° to the long area, the ratio of the lengths of short area and long area makes from 0.34…0.5 to 1, at the end of short area a transition section is formed, which length is equal to 0.05…0.09 of the length of short area, the angle between the transition area and short area makes 108…162°, at the end of the transition area an U-shaped connecting element is formed, the both rectilinear parts of which are located at an angle of 108…162° to the transition area, the end of the long area is bent at an angle of 120° and passes into a flanging, the ratio of the lengths of flanging and long area makes 0.05…0.5: 1, in the center of precipitating chambers corona producing devices are located, which basis has the form of hexahedral profile pipe and consists of six elements, each of which in the cross section contains three straight areas: central area, flanging and a ledge, at the end of which needles are made, in the case the angle of slope of the flanging and ledge relative to the central area is equal to 120°, the ratio of lengths of the central area and flanging makes 1:0.3…1, the ratio of lengths of the central area and ledge makes 1:0.3…3. |
