<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a screen display controlling method controlling the screen are provided to use a terminal function by differentially controlling the screen display such as an avatar and an icon of the mobile terminal according to proximity location. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(151) includes a touch screen. A sensor(140) senses the proximity touch. A controller(180) controls the display of the entity represented on a screen according to the proximity distance sensed in the sensor. The screen is a standby screen with a menu and an icon.</p> |
