METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOGNIZING INPUT MODE

PURPOSE: An input mode recognizing method and device is provided to recognize the keypad input and touch input and perform the operation corresponding to each input. CONSTITUTION: A keypad input unit(120) generates keypad input signal by the displacement of the keypad. All part or some part of a touch input unit(110) is overlapped with the keypad input unit. The touch input unit generates the touch input signal according to the touch of the user. A control unit receives the keypad input signal and touch input signal in the overlapped area of the keypad input unit and touch input unit. The control unit controls an input mode recognizing terminal for performing the operation according to the keypad input signal.
